Language Arts

For reading this week we will be working on a story called "Henry and Mudge Under the Yellow Moon". Read it on pages 84-93. It is an example of realistic fiction. You need to understand that events in this type of story could really happen.

R.A.H. (Read At Home!)

In our writing journals, the children were asked to write a story about something of their choice.  Encouraging them to use the writing sandwich approach, they are showing their knowledge of how to write topic sentences and details.  A few students volunteered to read aloud their stories...
